Gist Mallo & Duet Overshot Rigid Heddle Towels Kit

Description

A set of cotton and linen towels woven using a pick-up stick and a supplementary weft to create weft floats.

This project requires 2 cones of Gist Mallo Cotton Slub and 1 cone of Duet Cotton Linen which are included in the kit along with a free downloadable pattern.

Equipment

• Rigid heddle loom
• 12 / 12.5 dent reed
• Two boat shuttles or stick shuttles
• Three bobbins (for boat shuttles only)
• Pick-up stick
• Sewing machine (optional)

Yarn

Warp: Mallo Cotton Slub, 340 yds Ink, 290 yds Clay.
Weft: Mallo Cotton Slub, 160 yds Ink, 130 yds Clay. Duet Cotton/Linen, 360 yds Marble.
