Molla Mills Cotton 20/12

Molla Mills cotton yarn is made in Finland to the same high standard and specification as Liina Kalalanka Cotton.

Molla is a well-known crochet artist. She teaches crochet all over Europe and has written popular books on modern crochet that have been translated into several languages including English. The colour range is commissioned by Molla Mills, and changes regularly. The 9 shades are available in the 12 and 18 ply counts but Liina Kalalanka 12 and 18 ply counts range can be in substituted in her crochet patterns.

The Molla range is just as suited to weaving warp and weft as the Liina Lanka. Made from 100% cotton it is a very strong yarn with a tight twist, making it especially suitable for rug warp. These beautiful yarns are excellent choice for warp for rag rugs or when the weaving is more balanced and the warp is visible, it’s very useful when a coordinated or contrast in the warp is required. Even in a weft faced rug the fringe can be matched to the weft or décor!
