Description
A warping frame (sometimes called a warping board) is used to wind warps, keeping the threads in order ready to be wound onto the beam of any type of table or floor looms. The Toika warping board has sturdy pegs that have been glued into the frame which fits together for use and can be taken apart for easier storage if required. The frame measures 90cm x 90cm and has 21 pegs. This means warps of up to 14m long can be wound. Depending on the thickness of the threads it may be better to wind longer warps in bouts, chaining them off ready for beaming together when the warp is completely wound.
