Lyocell is a form of regenerated cellulose made by dissolving pulp and dry jet-wet spinning to form a filament.
“Lyocell” has become a genericized trademark, used to refer to the Lyocell process for making cellulose fibres. Unlike other viscose processes, Lyocell production does not use carbon disulfide.
