Description
“Perle” (or “Pearl”) is a term used by American weavers for mercerised cotton, usually two ply. Mercerisation add strength and a lustrous, shiny appearance to the cotton.
Our Perle mercerised 100% cotton 5/2 NeC is suitable for table runners & mats, scarves, krokbragd, tapestry and more.
If you prefer to follow a magazine project this yarn is frequently featured in Handwoven for all sorts of projects ranging from towels and table linens to cloth for clothing. It is strong with a subtle sheen, behaves well on the loom and is very versatile.
The put-up is 200g on cone.
