Cotton100% cotton. We stock both mercerised and non-mercerised yarns.
Cotton-LinenYarn made from a mixture of cotton and linen fibre in various proportions, sometimes called cottoline or cottolin. These yarns have the extra absorbency associated with linen.
Linen100% linen. We stock both long fibre and tow linen.
Wool100% wool. We stock both natural and worsted wool yarns.
- Garnhuset Wool 6/2We have selected a range of colours of this wool available from stock. Perfect for weaving tapestry, cloth for clothing, blankets and more this worsted wool is also suited to knitting. It is approximately the equivalent of what is described by US publications as a worsted weight, great for socks, and warm jumpers. There are approximately 320m on a 100g skein. Please note some colours are dyed on grey base yarns as well as natural unbleached wool. The result is a variation in the density of the colour. You can identify the base yarn by the colour number: Shades dyed on unbleached end in 00 Shades dyed on light grey end in 01 Shades dyed on medium grey end in 02 Shades dyed on dark grey end in 03
- Garnhuset Wool 20/2Long wool fibres are combed and spun into this soft, smooth yarn. Suitable for scarves and stoles as well as cloth for tailoring and homewares. We stock the full range of 43 colours.

Silk100% silk.
- Silk 20/2Nm 100g ConeA rainbow of colours in 20/2Nm spun silk. Hand dyed for us in India in both solid and tie dyed colours. This metric count is slightly thicker than the more widely available 30/2 and 60/2, we think it is a great weight for weaving – it is also suitable for knitting, crochet, lace making, quilting and embroidery. It is hand dyed in small batches, this means that although technically repeatable, no two batches are ever exactly the same. This adds to the beauty of the yarn but it is important to make sure you order sufficient for your product as we cannot guarantee to still have matching stock if you run out some time later. As with many yarns, colour fastness is not guaranteed and the production methods used with this yarn does mean that there may be some colour run from some colours when wet finished. We always suggest wet finishing a sample before embarking on your project to see how the yarn will behave.
