Delivery to the EU and Northern Ireland – New GPSR Law

Dear Northern Ireland customers,

On December 13th 2024, the EU will introduce the GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation).

The new regulation requires all businesses (including small family operated businesses like our own) to have a representative within the EU to act on their behalf regarding product safety. This is expensive – currently many thousands of pounds – and will take time to put into place.

Unfortunately, the EU GPSR regulation applies to sales to our customers in Northern Ireland (NI).

Until a workable solution is found that complies with the new regulation AND is affordable for our small business, we must make some changes to our delivery options.

We will temporarily stop accepting online orders from Northern Ireland from the 9th of December 2024.

If you are one of our valued NI customers and you would like to place an order with us, please ensure that you place your order by 1pm on Monday 9th December 2024. Any NI orders placed before this time will be packed and sent as usual. After this date there will no longer be a delivery option available for NI postcodes on our website.

Please rest assured that we are working hard to be able to find a suitable and affordable option that will allow us to restart sending orders to Northern Ireland. We are deeply sorry to disappoint our amazing NI customers who we know will be disappointed by this news. We hope that this issue will be resolved in the new year. We thank you for your custom over the last two years and we hope to be able to welcome you back very soon.

Please note: orders for delivery to the rest of the UK will not be affected and we will not be changing the delivery options currently available to you.
